The personal website of a young composer…

Welcome!

Sometimes I think:
I cannot write like this—it breaks the rules of the great composers before me.
But I live in the twenty-first century. Why should that hold me back?

What matters is that I am free to use the frameworks they left us,
to give everything, without restraint,
writing what I want to write, expressing what I want to express.

As for the rules of the twenty-first century,
let those who come after us decide.

At least for this moment,
onward to countless tomorrows of unbridled imagination.
